Sister band to Clam Idiots, FLICKER began it's humble formation at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Seaside, Ca in February of 2014. Clam Idiots drummer Ian McLaughlin and guitarist Kevin Dean Gander were enjoying a cold beer and tasty wings when they were approached by bartender Jacquelyn Newman. She struck up a conversation and found they had a love of music in common. They invited her to join them for a cover of I Love Rock & Roll that weekend at a show. Over the next year, Jackie continued to join the band on stage for an exciting mix of cover songs. Nearly a year after meeting, Kevin and Ian decided to start a new cover band with Jacquelyn and former Clam Idiots drummer Alexander Ramirez and FLICKER was born!
